Glenwood Springs is home to Colorado Mountain College.

Exceptional faculty. Innovative programs. Affordable tuition. And #17 in the nation for student success. Glenwood Springs is home base for Colorado Mountain College, which earned the distinction of a Top 20 national ranking in a CNN/Money report.

Colorado Mountain College’s eleven locations are in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, in spectacular settings that inspire success. Bachelor’s degree students get real world learning in Sustainability Studies and Business. Transfer students go on to earn highest honors at major universities.

The vibrant blend of mountain life and learning is incomparable. Outdoor Studies, Ski and Snowboard Business, and Natural Resource Management degrees maximize our proximity to thousands of acres of wilderness and international resorts. The college’s Isaacson School for New Media trains students in the rapidly expanding field of digital media communications, along with graphic design and professional photography. International Study Abroad programs encourage them to explore countries ranging from Cuba to Kenya, and an online division allows them to earn their degrees anywhere. Locally, students can also study Veterinary Technology, Theater, and Nursing.

In addition to bachelor’s and associate degrees and certificate programs, the college offers a vast array of continuing education, developmental education and customized business training. Veterans, active military staff and their families enjoy a tuition discount that helps make education highly affordable, and in-state students benefit from one of the lowest tuition rates in the state. And Colorado Mountain College is going green: sustainability initiatives at the college have reduced energy use by 15% since 2010, with the goal of being carbon-neutral by 2050.

Few colleges offer solid academics combined with affordable tuition and incredible access to skiing, snowboarding and summer mountain recreation right off campus like Colorado Mountain College does. Learn more about our unique degree programs, exceptional faculty, and inspiring mountain locations!
